Refund and Return Policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with every purchase from Idesign Furnishings. If for any reason you are not completely happy with your order, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your item in accordance with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Your Right to Cancel

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item without giving any reason. To exercise this right, please contact us before the 14-day period expires.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

• The return request must be made within 14 days of delivery.
• Items must be unused and in their original condition.
• Items must be returned in their original packaging.
• A valid proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation email, must be provided.
• Returns are not accepted for clearance or final sale items, or for gift cards.

• Photos of the item if it is damaged or faulty.

Step 2 — Receive Return Instructions

Once we receive your request, our customer service team will review it within 1–2 business days and provide you with detailed return instructions, including:

• The designated return shipping address.
• A return authorisation number.
• Packaging and labelling guidelines.

Please wait for our written confirmation before sending any items back. Returns sent without prior authorisation may not be accepted.

Step 3 — Return Your Item

Pack your item securely in its original packaging. Clearly label the parcel with your return authorisation number.

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

Large Item Returns

As we sell large garden furniture items, please be aware that returning large or heavy items such as dining tables and garden sofas may involve specialist courier collection.

We will advise you on the most suitable return method when we confirm your return authorisation. Please do not attempt to return large items via standard parcel post.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving a damaged item and include clear photographs. We will arrange collection and either replace the item or issue a full refund at no cost to you.

Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you by email. If your return is approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Please note that your bank or card provider may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account.

Return Shipping Costs

• If you are returning an item because you have changed your mind, return shipping costs are your responsibility.
• If the item is damaged, faulty, or we sent the wrong item, we will cover all return shipping costs in full.
• We do not reimburse customs duties, bank processing fees, or any additional charges.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return your original purchase for a refund and place a new order.
